Directions from Montpelier & Barre

FROM DOWTOWN MONTPELIER – 10 miles northeast
From the Montpelier round-about, follow North Main Street up the long hill, taking the curve to the left, and passing Towne Hill Road on your right.
In 1 mile, pass Vermont Compost on your left, and pass a cemetery and Center Road on your right.
In 1 more mile, you’ll pass Morse Farm Maple Sugar Works on your right.
Continue 6 miles past Morse Farm. Watch for the speed limit to drop down to 25 mph. Crest a small hill, and at the bottom of the hill when the pavement ends and changes to a dirt road, pass the Maple Corner Store on your left.
The Maple Corner Community Center is three buildings up from the store on the right.

FROM DOWNTOWN BARRE – 16 miles north
Follow Route 14 North past Hope Cemetery 4.2 miles to where Route 14 dead ends at Route 2 in East Montpelier. At the dead end and in the midst of all the bridge construction, turn right onto Route 2 East. You’ll immediately pass Dudley’s Store and Gulf Station on your left and take a slow curve to the right to a stop light. At the light, turn left onto Route 14 North.
In about 1 mile, you’ll pass Bragg Farm and Sugar House on your left.
In another 2 miles, you’ll go through the Village of North Montpelier. Continue on Route 14 North toward East Calais.
Immediately past the East Calais General Store (on your right), turn left onto Moscow Woods Road.
Cross over the immediate culvert and at the East Calais Post Office (on your right), take the fork in the road to the left, keeping you on Moscow Woods Road.
Follow Moscow Woods Road up a long winding hill for 1.75 miles until it deadends. Turn left onto North Calais Road.
Go 1 mile and turn right onto Kent Hill Road.
Follow Kent Hill Road 2 miles up a long and winding road until it deadends.
At the deadend, turn right onto West County Road.
Immediately pass the Maple Corner Store on your left.
The Maple Corner Community Center is three buildings up from the store on the right.
